BABYMONSTER’s next release now has a confirmed date and time, but the useful part is separating what YG has actually announced from what is still speculation.

YG Entertainment has confirmed new music for October 23 at 1 PM KST. Current coverage based on the label’s announcement agrees on that timing, but the title, release format, genre and full concept have not yet been disclosed. That means fans should treat any track name, album title or concept theory circulating before the next official update as unconfirmed.

The release comes about four months after “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA,” which YG’s own discography lists as a June 8 digital single. It also arrives while BABYMONSTER are still in their 2026–27 “CHOOM” world-tour cycle. YG’s official tour report says the group drew 90,000 people across two Kyocera Dome Osaka shows in September, so the October release is landing in the middle of a high-visibility live run rather than after a long break.

That timing is what makes this announcement more interesting than a simple calendar update. A new song released mid-tour can quickly affect setlists, encore choices, fan projects and the content YG pushes around upcoming stops—but none of those changes should be assumed until they are posted by the label or venue.

For now, the clean checklist is simple: October 23 at 1 PM KST is confirmed; “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA” remains the previous release; and the title, format and concept are still open. FavPulse will update the story when YG publishes the next official reveal.
